The Kentucky Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (KCIRR)

is an advocacy organization working for improving the lives of millions of immigrants and refugees in Kentucky and throughout the United States. Currently, KCIRR works on many fronts towards ensuring just rights, but mainly focused on grassroots organizing in immigrant communities. In addition to community organizing and advocacy work, KCIRR runs a Democracy School in which new immigrants learn about immigration laws and history of the United States, advocacy, legislation, thus motivating them to take leadership roles in their own causes.
